4/27/18 - Madisonville, LA

Today we drove across the causeway bridge into New Orleans.  This bridge is almost 24 miles long. We went to Urban South Brewing, NOLA Brewing, Port Orleans Brewing, Wayward Owl Brewing and Brieux Carre Brewing.  My son and his friends met us there.  They happened to be in New Orleans for a few days.  We walked down Frenchman Street into the French Quarter.  We had supper at Angry Okra then walked around Bourbon Street.  They left to do a tour and we went to Pat O’Brien’s for hurricanes.  Then walked back to our truck along the French Quarter streets and drove back across Lake Pontchartrain to camp.
